Following the success of similar groups in Dorset, Yorkshire and London, Brighton Entomology Group will begin meetings at [insert building here] in [insert location here], meetings will usually take the form of a talk or presentation, and will be on a Friday evening, once a month from 7pm to 9pm. All are welcome.
The main aim of the Group is to promote awareness, education and interaction between the public and the creepy-crawlies of the world.
Your host will be Scott Maslin, who will be present at all meetings. Every now and then, guest speakers will be invited to give a talk on a particular subject within the entomological world, and will include details of the work carried out by other groups and organisations working to promote the conservation of invertebrate species around the world.
If you would like to learn more about a particular species or perhaps would like to give a talk yourself, please ask or make your ideas known to Scott at the next meeting and he will be happy to discuss details with you.
Other activities are available at certain times of year and details will be produced and discussed at meetings.
We look forward to seeing the Brighton Entomology Group organise and host a number of events and activities over the coming years and would like to invite all those interested in bugs, insects, and creepy-crawlies to attend as many as possible.
