The Brighton Entomology Group has been set up with these aims...

1. To bring together everyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity, who share an interest in and enthusiasm for entomology - insects, bugs and creepy-crawlies in general.

‎2. To introduce the entomological species of the world, using live and preserved specimens, to those who otherwise would not have access to them.

‎3. To encourage the conservation of native species of insect, bug and creepy-crawly, with a particular emphasis on active involvement in projects in East Sussex.

‎4. To advise those who wish to keep invertebrates as pets in the correct methods of housing, environmental conditions and handling of the species they have chosen to keep.

‎5. To educate all interested with detailed information and statistics of invertebrate species from around the world.

‎6. To host regular events and presentations promoting the welfare and conservation of all invertebrate species from around the world, with particular emphasis on native species.
